| Bug: Windows Calendar "Reminders should show..." option is not working The option "Reminders shoud show when Windows Calendar is not running" does not work. Steps to reproduce this bug: 1. Make sure to turn on "Reminders should show when Windows Calendar is not running" under "Options..." in the File menu. 2. Create an appointment to start 2 minutes ahead from current time. 3. Set its reminder to "0 minutes" 4. Exit Windows Calendar. 5. Wait 2 minutes or less for reminder to show. |

It was pre-installed by HP. I have an HP Pavilion a1720n. | Re: Windows Calendar "Reminders should show..." option is not working am using v6.0 6000. vista ultimate RTM. is it possible that some of the garbage hp loads up for you is causing problems. use MSCONFIG and turn off all startup options and reboot. try the calendar again. be sure to remember to turn all the msconfig startup items back on. I only get reminders when I turn on the computer or open windows calendar. Otherwise, no reminders are shown even though I have the show reminders when calendar is not on checked. |
