Anybody point me in the right direction of an NG for Search in Vista as my
search indexer won't start!

I believe my trouble started when I formatted the partition that contained
the index, but no matter how many services I've enabled, search won't start
and it refers to error code 2147218141.

I wouldn't mind but even though it reports as being stopped and it sure as
hell can't find anything, my hardrive chatters away constantly and slows the
PC down, of course help and support says the solution is to start the
service, no mention of what to do when starting the service isn't producing
the expected behaviour though.
