Vista Home Basic with 1 user - anyway not to have to login

I have Vista Home Basic installed and I have only one user on the
whole system - me - is there anyway I can stop the login screen from
appearing on boot and it just goes straight into the desktop.

Re: Vista Home Basic with 1 user - anyway not to have to login

Hi,

Sure, same way is in XP. Click start and type 'control userpasswords2', then
hit <enter>. Click continue at the UAC prompt. Click on your account, then
uncheck the line that states "Users must enter a name and password......".
Click apply/ok and follow the prompts to set up the automatic logon.
