| Re: Searching within files... After you do a search, you should have the search bar with the "Search Tools" showing. After that choose "Search Options" and you can set to look for text in files. There must be a way to preset this before beginning a search, but I haven't found it yet. :) -Frank "NPS" <n@s> wrote in message news:u%23W2yoLTHHA.4076@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > Is it really the case that Vista cannot search inside files for text? |

There are three selectable option for searching file names only or content or both. Or am I not understanding the question? -- Rock [MVP - User/Shell] |

| Re: Searching within files... Yeeoowww! TAP Alt? TAP? Hell, I never thought about touching the KEYBOARD! Haha! No, you understood correctly. Your method is what I figured existed. Just didn't think I'd actually have to touch the keyboard :) -Frank "Rock" <rock@nospam.net> wrote in message news:eGIsNZMTHHA.2124@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > "Frankster" <Frank@SPAM2TRASH.com> wrote > >> After you do a search, you should have the search bar with the "Search >> Tools" showing.
