Have you gone into Device Manager and looked at your USB devices, specifically, the Power Management tab? Do you have the latest drivers for any USB devices you may be using? Have you installed this update? It might help. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=925528 Reliability update for the USB stack in Windows Vista January 30, 2007 -Michael |

| Re: Vista sleeps and wakes up again on it's own The mouse is "wired" to the p.c. I have also tried everything with the power options. I'll try disconnecting all the USB devices and see if that works. Thanks for the advise. | Re: Vista sleeps and wakes up again on it's own Be sure to post back if you fix it. Many times, users come here for suggestions or answers and never report if they found a solution- that information might be helpful to someone else. Good luck. | Re: Vista sleeps and wakes up again on it's own Same problem here, I've unplugged all USB devices yet vista reports that the USB root hub has woken up the computer as soon as I shut it down, I made sure that all USB devices and root hubs are not allowed to wake up the computer but they continue to do so anyway. | Re: Vista sleeps and wakes up again on it's own Michael, The problem was a setting on the network adapter that allowed it to wake the system. I had to go to the device manager and unclick the option that allowed the adaptert to wake the system.
