I have Vista and it will not let me use a program that I used all the
time under my XP. It says Active X will not let me or you have a
blocked publisher of 1 of the controls. I can download it, but it will
not go any further. I know I can buy updates but I like this version as
it is much easier and I monitor the photos - all the new ones are auto
corrected.

Can someone tell me how to get by the restructions to use the program?
I have no clue where Active X is or I would stop that and see if that
worked then re downloaded nor would I know about a publisher.

What program won't work for you in Vista? Be specific as to name and
version. I know there are issues with some Adobe products.

Try setting the compatibility mode to Windows XP (or an earlier
version of Windows).
