| Re: Windows vista upgrade too windows 7 What brand of notebook/laptop? You just need to download the drivers from your computer manufacturer's web site. The computer manufacturer should have the drivers for their specific hardware. There are some utilities that do a driver search and find all relevant drivers for your computer (desktop or laptop such as Driver Detective. (http://www.drivershq.com/) Perhaps that particular utility is simply not available for Windows 7. Otherwise, some of these links may help, as they seem to relate to the same problem and may present possible solutions: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/fi-FI/w7itprohardware/thread/81104bda-86ff-498d-9c20-37836813237c http://www.howtodrivers.com/model646.html Also, the first page of Google results for "nvidia Mangement controller: http://www.google.com.au/search?q=nvidia+management+controller&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a "Dion Lee" <dion.lee@bigpond.com> wrote in message news:752922EF-39B9-47D9-9DB1-B43A1552419F@microsoft.com... > Hi there hope somone can help,im trying too upgrade too window7 from > vista, and the upgrade adviser for windows 7 says the nvida mangment > controller is inconpatible with windows 7,how ever ive tryed too ask nvida > for a driver but thay say its an OEM suit and i have too contact my > notebook maker,How ever i did but thay say its nvida??? so i want too know > will i be ok too install windows 7 and have no problemsw?? | Re: Windows vista upgrade too windows 7 Hi Dion, If it works on Vista, the chances are pretty good that it will work on Windows 7 as well. Many OEMs keep forums for their customers, so you may ask there. Perhaps someone who has that model already tried to install Windows 7 and is ready to share experience. Good luck "Dion Lee" <dion.lee@bigpond.com> wrote in message news:u$jsMJvXKHA.4068@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > Its Asus notebook F5,Pro 50n > "Andrew Murray" <admurray.antispam@nospam.iinet.net.au> wrote in message > news:%23JOdQxsXKHA.4688@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... >> What brand of notebook/laptop? >> >> You just need to download the drivers from your computer manufacturer's >> web site.
