| Re: delete user account - follow-up Q Thanks for the help, Is the deletion 'secure', ie could the files be recovered by someone with admin access. | Re: delete user account - follow-up Q Download a free disk scrubber and use it to overwrite the empty parts of the drive - do it after you delete the account and empty the recycle bin. | Re: delete user account - follow-up Q Nope, no file deletion in Windows is "secure". If you want the files gone beyond casual recovery either use a file/disk wipe program or destroy the hard drive.
