Like I said, if you want to have it all set up with all the CODECs, use Mint. That said, I installed Windows 7 on a machine the other day and it didn't recognize the NIC so going on line for drivers, CODECs or whatever was impossible until I changed the NIC card. Problems can occur with any OS but usually the problem on a new install is hardware, not the OS. This is computing 101. Alias |
