Icon Size

I am using Windows Vista Home premium and the size of the desktop icons keep changing. They may be smaller (about the same size as those on the task bar.) and the next time the computer starts, the icons are larger. I suppose it is no big deal but I would like to know what may be causing this. Thanks for any help.

You may be accidentally changing the size. Click on an empty area of the
background. Hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard. Use the scroll-wheel
on your mouse to change the size of your desktop icons.

That's pretty neat!
Never had the urge to alter the size of my Desktop Icons but the
Control/Wheel tip is slick.
