WINDOWSUpdate_80070005 error

I cannot get rid of that error and have tried every single idea that I could
actually understand. I am not a computer whiz and would really appreciate a
layman's answer.

Thank you so much.

Rose

I appreciate all the answers but have to tell you that I am more confused
than ever. So many ideas and I am so clueless as to what most are talking
about. All I know is that I have not been able to use Window Update since I
changed to Kaspersky Internet Security 8.0.0.506

Then you have a clear cause-and-effect. It is probably a setting in
Kaspersky's firewall causing the issue. Contact Kaspersky tech support or
read the program's help pages.
