Vista Home Basic 32 bit SP2

as I do some times with free programs, Uninstall and Reinstall, to fix a
problem.
this time something went wrong.

I uninstalled Live Messenger, search my computer for leftover and deleted
them
now when I try to Install again ,
it tells me I have messenger. but its out
there is a LEFTOVER here I can NOT find,
advance search nothing
tried to find a Uninstall utility no luck
already looked in the Registry but its so large did not find it

Where should I look for answers about Windows Live Messenger?

I know its there somewhere, but not googled enough yet to find it
