20 minutes, not 1:15 hours.
I am in Eastern Daylight Zone, going Eastern Standard on Nov1 or something.
20 mins yes, but where you get over an hour I don't know

It doesn't matter what time zone you are in. The time is generated for each
zone. If you are 1:15 hours ahead, and you are, then you need to correct
your clock. Maybe we all can chip in and get you a timex.

I'm Eastern, too, but your post is timestamped an hour from now. ;-)

Re: Alias' feeling about Ubuntus

YOU ARE 1:20 MINUTES AHEAD ACCORDING 2 MY COMPUTER CLOCK AS WELL. EITHER
THAT, OR YOUR COMPUTER CLOCK IS SET 2 THE WRONG TIME ZONE, AS NEW YORK IS
CURRENTLY IN DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME (-04:00 GMT). FROM YOUR HEADER'S IT
APPEAR'S THAT YOU HAVE YOUR COMPUTER SET 2 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME (CDT)!

What can I tell you. It shows up more than an hour ahead. More like 1:15
or 1:20. Maybe you have other problems with your clock. If you can't even
get that right, I dunno, maybe there is no hope.
