Sleep/Hibernate

I know this must have been addressed many times, but I just joined and a
search didn't find anything

I lost the sleep/hibernate option.
I would like to do one or the other when I close the lid on my new lenovo
t400

Any advice on how to get it back?

thanks
chris

I am sorry, but using Usenet, attachment filtered.

You have said you lost it,
so did you or others do any HW/SW config changes
since last hibernation working ?

Try as admin launch command

POWERCFG -H ON

BTW, my T400 is using
powerful GUI based Power manager,

Lid actions and many other settings
can be easily set here,
once the hibernation is allowed.
