Pretty much a dupe of DanS's post. Glad to backup his position, but the
real reason is that my newsreader doesn't update the groups automatically
:-)

I think MS views this newsgroup as having become a
center for MS bashing. Also it seems to attract certain
members of society with multiple personality disorder
such as Spanky de Monkey and his multiple characters.
They seem to thrive in this environment to the detriment
of the whole newsgroup. On the MS forums it will not be
tolerated.

Its sad because I have always enjoyed my newsreader and
the ease of use, but times change.

And it's much easier to save useful information from a Usenet Newsgroup than
it is from a web-based forum...

Assuming that you can find useful information from a Usenet Newsgroup...

The remark in parens means that this poster ducks under his desk in an
effort to avoid thrown missiles, not that there are some members of genus
Anas under the desk.
