| Re: Windows 7 is here Looky here Stan I never bothered to reply to your posts because it was not worth it. But now you got my goat up. In 1944 I was interned in a camp by the Germans .In 1946 I was in Stalingrad. In 1953 I stood at attention while the music was blaring on the street on the death of Stalin. I lived through the Hungarian revolution of 1956. I was in Korea and Vietnam serving this country of ours which accepted me and my family so graciously. I did not know what a toilet was until 1952. Went most of the times without eating because there was no food in those days. I do not complain , I live in a great country and what is in the past is in the past. Period. Get on with your life and forget the past and stop posting the past hardships. What was ,,,was. The year is 2009 and it is now. -- Peter Please Reply to Newsgroup for the benefit of others Requests for assistance by email can not and will not be acknowledged. Remember that Ubuntu doesn't run the popular software programs out there. Ubuntu is worthless. Junk. Garbage. Nobody needs to use that piece of **** OS. |

| Re: Windows 7 is here IMHO: One big big problem Russians seem to have is that they are enamored with and have romanticized alcohol. Russians drink too much. Too many people arrive at work hung over. Alcohol is a progress killer. Tobacco and cigarettes are a drag. Smoking and drinking addictions are a huge tax the Russian society pays. A tax that is too high and holds Russia and Russians back. Red-eyed hung-over people are not exactly going to be innovators (except in excuses and lies). It's an uphill battle though, because drinking is probably highly romanticized. People probably have many delusions surrounding alcohol and its consumption. So the job is to convince them otherwise. | Re: Windows 7 is here You should see Finnish and Irish, they drink as much but quite successful. It's due to climate - vodka helps to get thru frost & depressive snow fields. I hate it, but then I am not Russian anyway - just born/raised there, not Polish either - just a name.. You're probablky not serious., It's not vodka that afflicts them Anyways, the subject was why Russo-China are allowed to pirate software, also wht Britts pat more than us and Russians pay less than us and when we will stop aiding countries who are richer than us in natural and land resources so a century later we might be ki**ing their a**? Not a good plan, strategically. |
