Mouse click doesn't stay locked

I have a Windows Vista Ultimate, PT-BR language, on a Dell Inspiron 1525
notebook. In mouse properties, when I check the
option "activate click lock", it works. But when I log off or reboot, this
option always gets unchecked again! Why?

By the way "activate click lock" is a tentative translation from Brazilian
Portuguese...

Thanks for any help.

Rosivaldo.
