Q: Moving the Quick Launch to the right side on Vista Home

Hello All:

I am helping a friend who has Vista Home Premium.

I can drag on my XP just the Quick Launch portion of the task bar to
the right without any problems. We cannot do this on her computer.

I found a set of instructions on a web site, that basically suggest
the copying of the "quick launch" folder to desktop and dragging it to
the right side. But the folder I create does not stick to the right
side as they claim.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Unlock the taskbar by right-clicking, use the dotted lines on the left side
of the quick launch icons.

That's how it works on my XP. It does not seem to work on this
Vista...

Deguza,

When the Taskbar is unlocked, did you use the dots to the left of the Quick
Launch icons (to the right of the Start circle)? When the cursor becomes a
double arrow, you can drag (click left mouse button and hold) to the right
and those icons will move to the left of the notification tray and no
farther.
