It was down once for hours, and did hit some people, but nothing earth shattering. The whiners had a field day with it. You know, the software thieves mad as hell Windows was getting harder to steal. You would think they all would have flown to linux. I wouldn't think that, but you might. I use linux. I see why its free. |

Sounds like Win 7 is going to tick off a lot of people. |

Stick with Ubuntu. |

FF can't get away with it as there are too many .NET users using FF. http://www.techworld.com.au/article/322742/mozilla_unblocks_one_sneaky_microsoft_add- <copied> Mozilla has also pushed out a change that will let users running Firefox 3.5 override the block, added Shaver. That change came out of discussions with enterprise Firefox users who said that they needed the two components to run their .NET-based software within the browser. The block of Windows Presentation Foundation will likely be lifted in the next two days. "Microsoft is watching the patch deployment numbers, and sharing them with us," said Shaver. "At some point, we'll take the [Windows Presentation Foundation] plug-in off the blocker. I expect that to happen in the next 48 hours." <end copy |
