| Taskbar size After reinstalling Vista, I noticed that the taskbar icons were no longer displayed as large icons. I believe there used to be an option available to display large icons. I haven't been able to figure out how to make the icons and buttons on the taskbar larger. FYI, I am running Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2, with all Microsoft updates applied. |

Desktop icons can be changed, and the start menu, but not the taskbar (i don't believe) Linux re-sizes them based on the height (nice!) |

The notification icons are not affected. Boo. Linux sucks. But, I like it sometimes! Its just a tool. When I bought a phillips head screwdriver, I didn't throw out all the flat head ones. |

I came across the option to do it several months ago, but unfortunately, after reinstalling Vista, the option is not available. I believe it was part of Service Pack 2. I just can't find the option to do it any longer. |

If one right-clicks in the Quick Launch area, the View | Large/Small icons option is displayed. I was clicking in the part of the taskbar that displays the applications buttons (the area between Quick Launch and System Notifications) which does not display the View options. Grrrrr :<| |

Right click on the taskbar, choose Properties, select Start Menu Tab, Customize, at the bottom there is an option to use Large Icons....that has no effect on the icons on the taskbar...just the Start Menu. Changing Screen resolution does. Perhaps I am wrong, but that's the only way I know. |

| Re: Taskbar size Thanks for the tip! Now my Taskbar icons look quite similar to the Windows 7 Taskbar icons in terms of size! Thanks again!
