When it is booted, run the command "sfc /scannow", without the quotes and followed by the enter key. It will take a long time, IIRC, so wait and hope for the best. -- Gene E. You seem to have messed around a lot, so I'd say you're lucky you could recover. I wouldn't trust anything that provides its own explorers without lots of assurances from knowledgeable people, and I wouldn't trust any third party cleanup or registry software... -- Gene E.
