Isn't it an indication of power Microsoft wields due to superior product?
If Windows were as bad as selected pests complain, and remember - any
product with a customer base over a Million is GUARANTEED to have
complainers because you can't please everyone, then they wouldn't be here.
They'd be running their OSX, Ubuntu, other Open Sores software.
But he comes here to list endless flaws and security holes in Windows.

If Windows were bad it wouldn't be on millions of machines & attacked by
hackers.
The main reason Linus is secure is because attacking it gets little notice,
as far fewer people are affected.
And it's so limited that 1 year of SUSE was enough for me, ALTHOUGH if I
ever play with x-nix (leenux, xenix, unix, phoenix, etc) it is Suse and NOT
Ubuntu.

Hey, I gotta use this 10-year old Mac for something,
I found it in a trash can.

Somehow using a trashed computer seemed appropriate,
considering the trash that people like "andy t" post in

It runs at the blazing CPU speed of 400 MHz. <g>

Can't wear this **** thing out, it just keeps running
despite its age.

I keep my regular PC for sensible work, not for posting

I work as a medical consultant, running apps like Dragon
full medical ($1,600) in Vista Ultimate, along with about
$5,000 of other specialized medical EMR and EHR software
which runs on Vista and soon on System 7.

Lately, more and more hospitals are switching to Macs
in order to pare down their IT staffs; they are running Mac
medical software like "MacPractice MD" , which basically is
a Mac-only suite of specialized medical EMR/EHR apps
which are able to speak to Windows EMR/EHR apps.

The MacPractice suite of software apps run around $7,000
by the time one buys all the side apps for viewing MRI slices
and CAT scans.

I might have to buy a Mac just for added functionality with
those Mac-only apps.
