Who the hell are Stan and Martha Starinski?

How can you say that voice recognition is not important? It is the most
important part of my life and I do not care what you or your mother Martha,
thinks about it.

I believe I know all there is to know about speech recognition. I am not
deluded I just think I am the best at this particular subject.

andy t knows nothing. He is just a pest and I want you all out there to
notice, that he is not in my league.

Because I am the great Mark Conrad. I run a hospital single handed and I
dictate on the run. This means I am always talking to get things down in my
machine so I can run all this through the computer. I then spend all night
dictating.

The good thing about dictating is, the words are always correctly spelled so
it is impossible to make a spelling mistake.

How could you *possibly* be the 'best'. Stan Starinski says *he's* the
smartest one here. He is, afterall, an engineer. You, on the otherhand,
are a hospital administrator. That's all. And it's highly doubtful you

Here's an answer to your question:
I am Stan & an EE+ME engineer by trade. But one of my "extra-curriculum"
hobies is writing comedy.

The astonishing fact, however, I came to USA at 20 when your brain is
"hard-wired" & some people never get rid of an accent or absorb a culture
based on an different subfamily of languages.
I don't want to name the country I came from (NOT Poland, and not ethnically
Russian, etc. despite last name) but it's not like e.g. someone speaks
German and they easily learn English as the 2 are related, or
Spanish/Italian/French-born people learn each other - these 3 are related.

But I managed to fuse with American culture & English so well, that hell -
my writings get noticed.
I should mention I saved a 21-year old girl from a liekly suicide by mere
writing.
OK OK now I sound "PRETENTIOUS" or "SELF-PROMOTING".
But it's a fact I love writing since 26. Why would you care?

BECAUSE HATED, DESPITED, ABHORRED IT UNTIL THEN.
Too long to explain, but in that country as many Techies I despised art,
fashion, writing, & other arty things.
Then it reversed.
AND THE CREDIT GOES TO CITY COLLEGE OF NEW YORK.

Now I suffer from Diarhhea of the Mouth & it's happening in a foreign
language - in English.
Who would think back in 1990's when my HighSchool English teacher said "only

Which translates to 650 words/minute.

There is absolutely no way you can talk that fast, nor DNS can recognize
that fast. That's 10 words a second. In order for you to talk anywhere
near that, you need to already know exactly what you are going to say,
possibly even reading it.

I don't think *anyone* here will believe your claim. (Other than a burst
of 10 words that come out really fast, and interpolating up from that, it
says 600 wpm) but I am absolutely certian, you could not speak 600 words
in one minute, or that DNS can recognize 600 words in one minute.

knowledgeable about USENET, but apparently you do not even look at

At the time this post was made, there was no reason for me to look at the
headers.

Since then though, I had called out this nym-shifting troll, exposed
he/she/it, and then was promptly impersonated by he/she/it, as you can
see around mid-month.
