DST Update for Western Australia

Hi all,

Firstly, I apologise if this has already been asked and answered, I am new
to this newsgroup.

I live in Western Australia and have just purchased a copy of Windows Vista.

I have tried to apply the lastest timezone patch from MS for the Daylight
Savings Trial (KB928939), however it appears to run and does nothing.

I still get the message "Daylight Saving Time is not observed by this
timezone" when I look at the Adjust Time/Date window.

The patch is listed in Programs and Features (the old Add/Remove programs),
removing and re-installing this makes no difference.

I am "working around this" by setting my timezone to +9 Osaka, however I
would like to get this patch working so I can install to any other new Vista
Workstations that my business will purchase soon.

Kind Regards,

Cameron Clark

Cameron

Go to the site again
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c6a2c8fe-abda-4051-a24f-3ec933089747&DisplayLang=en#filelist
and download it again. If you are using 32 bit download the first one
in the list. At download, click run, (not save to disc) and you
MUST have admin privileges to install.

Hope this helps
