I can't delete files that I want to on Vista Ultimate x64. How do you do
this? I am the administrator. I don't understand it. I can't unistall a
program because of improper permissons and I can't delete them. This is
ridiculous. Can anyone help? Thanks.

You're the admin, but you're just not "admin enough" for UAC in Vista. I
think that you'll be able to delete the files if you make sure you take
proper permissions of the folder they're in. Rt. click>properties>security
tab> and take permission of the folder.

I had same problem and went to properties security and ticked so it showed I
had full control but still wouldnt let me delete. The only way I could was
turning off user account control then delete the file then turned the user
account control on again.

I'm having the same problems. I have search the web high and low to
figure out why I can't delete 4 folders on my desktop (non system
related) I have followed many instructions and failed. I was able to
perform the actions 'listed at this link:' (http://tinyurl.com/43hgos)
and downloaded the software. I was able to move 2 files that I needed to
be removed, but can't get the folders to delete. Any other ideas?
