Removing Windows Easy Transfer??

I apparently made a mistake when I tried to use WET to shift settings etc
from an installation of XP on one partition to an installation of Vista on
another particion *on the same computer?*

This did not work and it now seems that the WET has somehow become a balast
affecting performance of the pc.

How can I remove WET/revert to the situation before the above unsuccesfull
operation?

The reason it's not working is simple:
It only works on two different computers, one XP and one Vista and you need
a special cable ( i believe).
I'm not sure it can be removed, maybe disabled.

WET can save to CDs/DVDs, another hard drive, USB flash drive.
