Search Indexer

After a crash from a video from Total Training which came with Expression
Web, my Search Indxer is corrupted. I can't rebuild it because it will not
load. I had to disable it to even use my system. Outlook won't launch and the
system is unresponsive as the error keeps poping up.
Is there a way to rebuild this or repair it? I restored my system to no avail.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: Search Indexer

Hi Sam,

Have you tried stopping the Windows Search service, then rebooting and
restarting it?

Re: Search Indexer

It will not run as it crashes seconds after Vista boots up. I have restarted
and restored to no avail.

RE: Search Indexer

I'm having the exact same problem (minus the video from Total Training -- I
wasn't doing anything beyond simple web browsing when Search Indexer first
crashed out and I had to disable the service to keep it from restarting
infinitely.
