Please pay for each page you visit and each link you click on next time.
Also pay for using this newsgroup.

Since you have not paid anything to the internet up till now but only
your ISP utility bill, please deposite a check for all the years you
have used the internet to Tim Berners-Lee, the creator of the intenrnet.

NOTE: If you were not an idiotic uneducated bastard you would know that
Tim Berners-Lee could have been richer that bill gates had he kept the
internet under his control.. but rather he had an idea that NOW YOU
MORONS can enjoy:

He wanted the internet to be a place where all information is shared
freely... and everyone can access it.

I estimate you owe him around 500.000 for the years you have spent on
the internet goofing around like an overgrown baboon

you can reach Tim here

Sun is not thriving comparing to their hopes in the year their VM was
integrated into Internet Explorer, Java since then became an optional
download, Sun laid off scores of programmers.

Windows Backup ships with every copy of Windows 7.

Under the bed(?) .. that's probably where Linux put it alright.

Political correctness, of course, not unlike when universities "employ"
operating systems.

Many do. Bus drivers, lawyers, business executives, race car mechanics, the
United States Army, software engineers, garbage truck drivers,
veterinarians, shop owners, nurses, florists, cooks, Toyota mechanics and
their repair shops .. the list is endless.

Windows in and of itself rarely breaks. But I know of systems running linux
going belly up because someone attempted to change a screen resolution. But
who ever said a macro-kernel system such as Linux where near EVERYTHING has
to be compiled into the kernel isn't risky? Want a new sound driver?
Recompile the kernel.

With every woman and her dog using Windows, Microsoft has to protect itself.

> What frickin' guarantee of accountability from MS do you refer to?

He probably referring to the fact that they continually and intensely
maintain Microsoft Windows according to (and even going beyond) known and
published parameters.

So what?

If you lose your data on a Windows PC, will they replace it?
He makes MS sound as if they are more responsible to the customer for such
events.
They will tell you "Tough Cookies" if you crash and lose everything.

Linux doesn't lose data.
Users do.

Same with linux.
Usually users whom wish for more control over their computers use linux.
Also, users who don't think the OS is just a platform to run AV and Malware
software on.

Yeah right.
Windows breaks installing MSN toolbar.
That's why techs like Windows ... repeat customers.

And yet, they couldn't replace Vista fast enough.
With their track record on quality releases, you can't possibly say that
with a straight face.

According to the research paper...the usb device runs an embedded linux
distro.

No confusion here.
