I have the same problem only mine says "Windows host process has stopped working'. It doesn't say anything about Rundell32. It says to update my HP printer driver to solve the ptoblem. I don't have a printer installed on my laptop. |

| Re: Windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working Hi, The faulting module, XWDkernel.dll, is part of WindowsDock software, not Vista. You should be directing your query to their support. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "charlotte" <charlotte@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:08B2BF2B-FD63-47B4-B2FF-F69A386DFB42@microsoft.com... >I have the same error message no nero no video issues I know of. > > > I get this error only when I open internet explorer windows host process > (rundll32) has stopped working > > I have tried to un-install internet explorer 7 and install 8 nothing > worked > I have tried to repair with the problem and reports solution, system > restore > here is the app crash report. > > > Problem Event Name: APPCRASH > Application Name: iexplore.exe > Application Version: 7.0.6001.18000 > Application Timestamp: 47918f11 > Fault Module Name: XWDkernel.dll > Fault Module Version: 5.4.10.1 > Fault Module Timestamp: 2a425e19 > Exception Code: c0000005 > Exception Offset: 000036cf > OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3 > Locale ID: 1033 > Additional Information 1: fd00 > Additional Information 2: ea6f5fe8924aaa756324d57f87834160 > Additional Information 3: fd00 > Additional Information 4: ea6f5fe8924aaa756324d57f87834160 > > Extra information about the problem > Bucket ID: 1123658474 > > I have been to every forum and I am a web designer/developer I have never > not been able to fix my own computer issues, than again I am against vista > which I find to be the most buggiest software ever.
