| Re: How to hide two 'desktop.ini' files on my Desktop? Hi, You can't, either the files are hidden or they aren't. You can't selectively choose which system files show and which don't. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org Vote for my shoe: http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "St" <sandy@localdomain> wrote in message news:eCgCOLzGKHA.1336@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > ...except hiding Hidden+System files, of course. |

| Re: How to hide two 'desktop.ini' files on my Desktop? I find this strange. When I had WIndows XP, I had it set to show all hidden files/folders and system files, yet there were no "hidden" files displayed on my desktop. Now that I have Vista, I either have to not display the hidden files/folders or put up with the annoying non- files like the .ini files on my desktop. Another Vista annoyance brought to me courtesy of MS. Trust me I'm counting down the days to Win 7. I can't get rid of Vista soon enough. There are just so many weird stuff going on that collectively drives me nuts.
