Audio breakup

I have vista home premium with a 256MB Radeon 2600 XT video card. I am
continually having problems with streaming audio breaking up. Sometimes
there are no issues and other times once it starts I have to reboot the pc in
order for the audio to work correctly again. This happens with streaming
video from you tube, Rhapsody or any number of news web sites where I am
watching a video. My pc has 4GB of Ram and 260 GB of hard drive memory. I
never have an audio issue if I am playing something that resides on my pc,
ie. a game or musicon hard drive.
I have 10 Mbps of internet connect speed so that shouldn't be the issue.
And as I pointed out--if I do a reboot everything works fone for another day
or so. Does anyone have any idea as to what might be the issue and how to
fix it? Thanks.

Re: Audio breakup

IP bandwidth is one factor. Uneven data streaming speed is another. To much
running in background on your P/C is another.
Finally, out of order packets can also be a source of the problem.

quality.
