****. The world will end on 5/11/12? Does that mean I won't have to
make any more car payments?

Re: Windows 8

Windows 8 is already in the offing, that's why I asked!

If you read this week's Microsoft monthly, it tells you in there and it will
be ready in less than one year.

Don't you people read?

I'm not paying for Windows 7 as long as Vista is working fine. It would be
nice if MS offered me Windows 7 for free since I just bought my PC with
Vista a few months ago. I would have waited for the Windows 7 release and
skipped Vista as well but the evil Turbo Tax people stopped supporting
Windows ME.

That is sad if the world is ending on May 11, 2012. My son wouldn't even
get to his 4th birthday.
I thought the world was going to end on a Friday the 13th, or one of those
funny days like 05:06:07 on 08/09/(20)10.

Less than 3 years to Windows 8? I might wait and upgrade to Windows 9.
Will DWIM be supported by then?

What's Microsoft monthly, some kind of paper printed media or an online
"magazine"?
Obviously we read. I read your post didn't I?
I usually don't read printed stuff, no need when everything is available in
paperless form.
With Windows 7 not officially released yet, maybe your question would make
more sense if you referenced where you heard this.

****. Where did you live back then? I'll bet your house has gone up in
value since then. Even with the recession. Maybe you should think of
retirement.

Few houses are still around from 600 years ago.
If you lived next door to Nostradamus you probably lost your land when the
Germans invaded.

The other guy said the world will end in May. Are you now telling me
that I need to make car payments until the end of the year?

At least I won't have to shop for Christmas
