| Re: No Vista upgrade [Crosspost to Vista General, if only for the entertainment value.] And your Outlook Express question is...? Yes, you can buy a new Vista computer NOW that includes a "free" upgrade to Win7 but I can assure you that such a computer would cost much more than your Vista laptop did in May. PS: Between 26 June and 11 July (US & CA), you could have purchased a Win7 Upgrade quite inexpensively (i.e., US$50 to US$100). -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Client - since 2002 Sindi wrote:[color=blue] > I bought my laptop 5/1/09 with vista 64 bit. I can tell you whatever new Mac they buy will probably run them from 1500-2000 bucks. Have fun with that! Some people just want a reason to complain. Oh cry me a river that you bought a new computer and about 2 mos. later they announced an upgrade program,**** happens! The people on the phone weren't lying, they were just going by the information they had at that time and if they were never told about the upgrade program, they could not have mentioned it. |

| Re: No Vista upgrade And if the latest in OS versions and updates concerns a person so much, they should get a clue and read some of the industry news and blogs. Geesh.
