Comparison of Vista / Longhorn with Document Management Systems

I am looking at Vista and Longhorn with the hope that I can dump a third
party SQL Server database driven Document Management System. I would like to
know whether Vista and Longhorn are / will be capable of doing the following
file management tasks:
file caching, attribute definitions, document code generation, saved
searches, forms generation, conditional branching, workflows, and scanning
references or OLE docs. These are currently available in the DMS I use. I
also read that Win FS was to be relational, is this no longer the case with
Vista?

WinFS was removed from Vista well before Vista was finished and the WinFS
project has now taken a different direction. For more info on the status of
WinFS see http://blogs.msdn.com/winfs/.

You can't pull off what you want with Windows alone.
