| Norton Ghost Issue... Vista Home Premium 64 bit SP1 Norton Ghost v14 I was backing up to an external USB drive, but the drive died. I bought another one. This old one was named "Tera City" and was automatically mapped to J:. The new on is 1.5TB and is automatically mapped to K:. I am having problems getting backups to run. It seems that the original "Tera City" is still being referenced somewhere in Ghost. I keep getting a "Windows - No Disk" pop up whenever I try to change Ghost. When I open Norton Ghost, it pops a window "Connecting and Retrieving Information From the backup and recovery service on "mypc name"" And it just sits there never completing. If I cancel it, everything on the Ghost window gets greyed out. In the Options, the original disk is listed along, (but it says "Not Available") with the new one. If I try to remove the original, I get an error saying: "The selected drive is in use by one or more backups. Please delete the backups or select alternate destination" ONE THING I NOTICED: MY PC HAS MULTIPLE SLOTS FOR VARIOUS TYPES OF MEMORY STICKS. ONE OF THEM IS NOW MAPPED AS J: (MY ORIGINAL BACKUP DRIVE WAS J: ). THIS MEMORY STICK SLOT DOES NOT SHOW UP IN NETWORK CONNECTIONS NOR DISK MANAGEMENT. HOW DO I CHANGE THE J: TO SOMETHING ELSE? MAYBE THIS IS THE PROBLEM? Ideas? THanks, Ray |

| Re: Norton Ghost Issue... This is a Ghost issue in the way it displays drives and removed drives. Contact Norton about conditions with their software.
