I have a desktop on which I both Vista and Window 7 installed in a
dual boot configuration.

I have been able to access which ever OS is
running from a laptop over a wireless network for some time with
remote connection..
All of a sudden every time I try and connect to the desktop from my
laptop. I get a message that it does not recognize my credentials.
I have one of the drives on the desktop Mapped and when
access that drive using the same password as for remote
access I have no problem.
It is really a frustraing scenario and I have not been able to correct
it. Sure could use some help on this one, thanks

Hi Hooter, this is certainly strange especially as these credentials
are working fine with the mapped drives. Other than typing an
incorrect password only thing I can think is for you to pay close
attention to your username's domain prefix if this applies to your
case, e.g. username would be domain\username.
