| Help!! Remote Connection I have a desktop on which I both Vista and Window 7 installed in a dual boot configuration. I have been able to access which ever OS is running from a laptop over a wireless network for some time with remote connection.. All of a sudden every time I try and connect to the desktop from my laptop. I get a message that it does not recognize my credentials. I have one of the drives on the desktop Mapped and when access that drive using the same password as for remote access I have no problem. It is really a frustraing scenario and I have not been able to correct it. Sure could use some help on this one, thanks |

| Re: Help!! Remote Connection Hi Hooter, this is certainly strange especially as these credentials are working fine with the mapped drives. Other than typing an incorrect password only thing I can think is for you to pay close attention to your username's domain prefix if this applies to your case, e.g. username would be domain\username. |
