Sidebar question

Is it normal for two sidebar processes to be running at the same time? My
Vista Ultimate system normally(?) shows that two instances are running all
the time.

Thanks,

James

Not normal. Format your hard drive and reinstall Vista or, better yet,
get a real operating system at http://www.ubuntu.com/. It's FREE and
comes with access to thousands of FREE programs.

....yes, that is normal, so stop lying. You don't have Vista nor have you
ever had Vista...you're a known and admitted linux liar, spammer and a
thief.

Format your hard drive and reinstall Vista or, better yet,

Apparently, yes it is normal. This post by MVP Ramesh explains why:
http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/why-there-are-two-instances-of-sidebarexe-running/

Basically you have installed a third-party gadget and so there is nothing to
worry about.

You have it all wrong. No wonder why you use Ubuntu. Your reasoning is
skewed and you brain has been fried by all those drugs.

Yes, it is normal to show two instances listed in the processes tab, there
is no need for a reformat and/or reinstall of Vista for this.

Some CD's but others with problems.

You need to search for hours to find the right program to rip CD's. It
may work. It may not.

Yes you can listen to some music. Some sites are not compatible with
Ubuntu.

Yes you can do this.

If you are lucky and can find the correct driver for your printer to
work with Ubuntu then you just might be able to do this.

Basic input of a small number of columns and rows. Not very good at
complicated computations or macros.

Basic presentations to idiots who think that Ubuntu is great when in
reality it sucks.

Yes, you can use Open Source programs to get to newsgroups. BFD.

Sure. Basic HTML Editing is possible.

That is it. If you want to play real games you need a Windows machine.

> Make videos.

You will be searching for hours to find the right programs and the ones
you find only do the very basic of tasks. If you want to do real video,
get a PC or a MAC and run Windows or OS X.

Sure you can download your pictures.

Nope.

Sure. Get the dictionary off the shelf and look up a word. Oh, you can
use your browser and search for words.

Not with Ubuntu. You need specialty software for this. This might take
awhile to find something worth anything. Keep looking.
\

Basic edits like brightness, contrast, hue. For something more robust,
use Adobe products on a MAC or Windows platform.

Funny. Your printer can do this. If you can find the right drivers
after a few hours maybe you can use your printer with Ubuntu.

Maybe.

Take screenshots of a useless OS. Of course you can do this but it's
USELESS.

Yea. Probably.

A very primitive database.

Yes you can instant message. Ubuntu has to do something.

Again, they had to make Ubuntu do something.

But not much more. Ubuntu was written by geeks for geeks who can't get
laid.

ANY REAL WORK!

No problems. Can you name one?

There are programs that are preinstalled in Ubuntu that will rip CDs. No
searching necessary.

Name one that doesn't start www.microsoft.

Printers are cheap. Buy a compatible one if the one you have isn't
compatible.

You just downloaded Seamonkey. Composer is available in Ubuntu along
with some much more complicated HTML editors.

True but that's only because Capcom, Eidos, et al, won't port to Linux.

False.

Ubuntu comes with a dictionary in the language of your choice.

Ubuntu comes with specialty software for this. Oops.

For most people's needs, GIMP works just fine.

With Windows, you don't need a printer to send and receive faxes. The
same is true of Ubuntu.

People take screenshots of a lot more than the desktop.

Definitely.

False, as complicated as you like.

As you can see, it does much more than just messaging and a hell of a
lot more than your ill informed statements that you can't get anything
done with Ubuntu.

See above.

I just proved that wrong.

Why did you snip this:

What you can't do with Ubuntu:

Worry about:
WPA and WGA raising their ugly heads,
DRM,
Viruses,
Root kits,
Spyware,
and
Malware.
