| Re: Hijacked It slows you down in 2 cases: 1) You don't set its setting sproperly 2) You don't disable real-time proection after you're done working in dangerous environment. If you know what to disable after you're done scanning/working in red-alert zone, don't criticize the best AV in the world. This thing brough my system from the grave after a severe attack at work thru stupid boss's DSL box... the only thing that fixed my system with 80GB of semi-government & military designs. Learn how to use things. |

| Re: Hijacked Why do you bother responding to an obvious lamea** homo pedo unemployed piece of riubbish that keeps reacting to anything he deems to be his area of expertise? Leave the morn to himself. You're better than spending time on him... he will come back and call you a moron s, what? Morons usualy have double0-vision and suspect everyone's like them. |

Figures. AVAST, AVG, or NOD is much better. You are just crippled. Have been reading your posts. Stay away from computers. |

You are the MORON. |

| Re: Hijacked Most dominating technical products started as a hobby, MORON. First PC - out of Steve Wozniak's garage (Steve Jobs was the business arm of that project), Z80 microprocessor - best classic 8-bit processor ever, that is still in hom eappliances... after 30 years. First Windows, known as "AppleMac OS". where Bill Gates got the idea from. Toothbrush, X-Ray machines & radiation discovery, new vehicle features came out of aftermarket mods, many ideas are borrowed or stolen from hobbies, I am too tired to make a long list... Ubuntu is a real contender and it's made in Africa, so it's got to be quality. Shirley |

| Re: Hijacked I am sorry Norton either didn't work for you or didn't bother to configure its numerous settings properly. Rememeber you people attacking me for not knowing "how to use" Vista? Fact is Norton was good to me, it did take a few googles to find solutions to its quirky issues - NETWORKING (get disabled when certain Symantec services is disabled), other than that, I'd be tearing my hair out in January 2009 when it saved me from disaster in Safe Mode. I couldn't destroy slowly spreading infection, until I ran NortonAV in SafeMode and Lord, it found one of THEE most dangerous viruses in the world on my machine. Free AV tends to be less powerful because people writing it are motivated only by good will and maybe semi-government organization, when money gets involved, product improves. If money were involved in Linux it wouldn't be a "hobby OS". Your Avast, etc are hobby AV's. |
