Preloaded OS is genuine, but what is the percentage in overall trade?

People assemble computers & load pirated OS, then they complement it with a
boatload of pirared application 'warez".
It may not happen in highly-visible government or large corporate offices,
e.g. oil company, but it's going on in countless small businesses and homes.
While we have little power to apply economic leverage on Iran or North
Korea, at least with Russia & CHina especially we shouldn't be so timid.
Obama is TIMID. We need a combination of Reagan & Clinton, or whatever... I
am really confused now.

Everything is fouled up/ NYTimes today cost me $5, it was 3.50 not too long
ago, I switched to cheaper bread and forget about juice. I now drink water
and feast upon tuna fish.
I used to drive Maxima, now I can't fix Sentra door after idiot taxi driver
pressed against it (multiple dents) beacause cost suddenly juped into $400
range.
I wonder if our children will be eating squirrel soup as they did back in
1930's Great Depression.

I don't like fruits of my & other intellectual professionals labor to be
stolen and even further - made profit from by the people I've left behind in
1993; while gobernment is afraid to put China where it belongs and impose
tariffs on their poisonous, low-quality imitation of American designs.

they now clone Apple iPhone, this is an ultimate insult. iPhone, computer
and jeans are as American as bubblegum & baseball.
You AMericans allowed this to be all done overseas, because you want it to
be a few dollars cheaper. OK, you got it cheaper!
So Chinese received your jobs, now who can buy it? NOBODY. Chiense are
saving, and Americans are getting stripped down.

I don't always agree with you, JEWboy, but in this case you are right on,
even though the subject is 'outside the box'.
'We the people' have been sold out by big business and our own government
and they should actually be held accountable. Instead they are rewarding
themselves or each other.
Where is our courage?
You are one of the 'effected' people in this process, but there are plenty
who benefit from it and are thriving in this environment.
Eventually something will have to give.

As everyone is at the different stage of maturity and knowledge level, so is
every country at different development stage. Some are more mature and
developed than others.

As a society in general, how do we treat younger people who are yet
developed to the level of maturity and knowledge as an educated adult? We
provide guidance, education, and training to them, and as time goes by, we
expect them to grow and become one. We do not just kill them because they
have not reached to our expectations just yet!!

If you care to study the development history of most developed countries,
you would have noticed that it took us very long and many people's precious
lives to get where we are today.

It is for the same reason for many of us to providing assistances to other
countries that have not reached to the same level of maturity and
development.

All those problems you have highlighted are there, but it is not exclusive
in those countries, and it is not justified enough for bring us back to the
primitive age as you suggested.

We need to solve those problems but not using those drastic approaches as
you suggested to destroy the entire system.

degree without the system, and now you want to take it away from someone
else because you may have suffered for reasons we may or may not know?

A concept of "continuous improvement" has been introduced for more than half
a decade ago, and essentially, it tells us that as an individual, business
entity, or a country, we must to improve continuously, or sooner or later,
we will be replaced by others.

Unfortunately, this concept has yet to be fully recognized and adopted by
the majority of people and business, and that is also one major reason for
many of them have been voted out from the market.

It's an imperfect world because we, human beings, are imperfect. We could
only choose a better system and continuously improve it for the benefits of
all.

What you are proposing, on the other hand, is to bring us back to the stone
age and many of us will not let it happen.

What you call FAIR is what would benefit ONLY yourself, but many of us call
it - status quo and entitlement.

What many of us considered as FAIR, is to have the equal opportunities to
learn and grow and develop as an individual and/or country, just like you
have been given.

Do not play this "us against them" trick since it is outdated.

for facing challenges or working with your former people for solving

Sanitation Engineer is a good one.
Not like a Chinese worker can drive all the way over here to dump the
garbage.
Not cost effective.

Baby-Sitting is another good one.
Outsourcing baby-sitting to China not likely to happen.

The others I can think of would require capital on your end.
And that I don't divulge for free.
