Is IE 8 ready for download

I have a one year old Dell XPS 420 with Vista Ultimate. A friend told me to
wait until all the kinks are worked out before I download IE8. Is it easy
and safe to download without causing all kinds of problems?

Install it. If you don't like it or have problems you can uninstall it.

Then why aren't you using Lynx instead?

Re: Is IE 8 ready for download

I just wanted to make it known that now there is another great reason to
download IE8. When you download IE8 from 'browserforthebetter.com'
Microsoft will donate 8 meals to the organization Feed America.

The Feed America network secures and distributes more than 2 billion
pounds of donated food and grocery products annually, and supports
approximately 63,000 local charitable agencies that distribute food
directly to Americans in need. So now you can know that when you
download IE8 your also making a difference.

Why would I want to download IE from anywhere else but Microsoft update?

Besides, why I would even WANT IE8?

I only use IE because Netflix won't use Firefox.

Support 4 IE 7 Will Expire Exactly 1 Year After IE 8 Was Released. That
Means That Some Time Next Year Mainstream Support 4 IE 7 Will Be Retired.
