| Reward for testing Office 2007 To my surprise I received an Email from Msft that thanked me for testing Office 2007 Along with a link to download a 60 day trial of the RTM version This would at the very least be a nice way for MSFT to say thank you to the CPP members for using the Vista beta's, an offer to download a 60 day trial of Vista RTM would go a long way to say thank you to those CPP members who did submit bugs and did a lot of work towards making Vista a good OS, And it would also be a great promotional move which seemed to be the whole purpose of the CPP |

| Re: Reward for testing Office 2007 It has been standard practice for MSFT to offer public 60 day trials to Office for several versions back--I have no idea how far. They gave out trials to XP during the year after XP launched, and I'm sure that they will be available for Vista as well but I don't know whether they'll put it on line. Could be. | Re: Reward for testing Office 2007 It would be nice to be able to see if RTM solved the problems I have with RC1. Vista is way too slow for me to use during the work day the way I use the computer. X64 flies, but Vista slugs, sometimes taking several minutes to respond and other times requiring me to up the priority of a process to get it 'unstuck'. Many other things, like having to use a third party program to delete temporary files and constant popups of shared files for WMP and Mail. Only a few of my constant problems have reports about being fixed in RTM. Don't really want to spend @ $400 + $1,000 for other programs on a system I can't use most of the day.
