| Large icons, etc. I have had three House Calls and two e-mail messages regarding oversized display settings in the past two days. Windows Vista Home Premium all. The Display settings dialog box is too large to make adjustments. The HP Total Care Advisor opens and there is no way to drag it to the side. Any thoughts? |

You can now use the cursor arrow keys to move the display settings dialog window back to the desired location. When the box is located where you want it, press <Enter>. Then right-click the Desktop, Select Personalize > Display Settings, and choose a resolution appropriate for the monitor. (It is also necessary that the proper display adapter drivers be installed, of course.) -- Bruce Chambers Help us help you: http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/555375 They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. ~Benjamin Franklin Many people would rather die than think; in fact, most do. ~Bertrand Russell The philosopher has never killed any priests, whereas the priest has killed a great many philosophers. ~ Denis Diderot |
