The over heating and loud noise was a sure sign of an up coming hardware failure. You will have to have a computer shop, or HP, fix it and it is going to be $$$$$. But before you ship it to HP, take it to a local technician or repair shop (not a big box store like BestBuy) and have them pull the hard drive and copy all of your persona data to CD's. When you ship it to HP they may very well reformat the drive and you will loose all your personal data. |
