printing web pages

Some web pages have a 'printer-friendly' option, which allows the pages to
be printed without wasting space on pictures, links, adverts etc etc.

Other web pages dont have this option.

Can anyone suggest the best way of printing a web page, just the text, no
pictures, when the 'printer-friendly' option is not available ?

Thanks

K

In IE8 it's Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Printing
Clear the box that says ' Print background colors and images'.

Re: printing web pages

Highlight what you want to print. Then, print "selection"

You might try a custom default style sheet.
