| USB devices that prevent booting etc The User's Guide to my new Toshiba USB flash memory has this warning: <quote> Performing the following operations with the Product connected to a PC may cause improper function on your PC: - Booting - Rebooting - Resuming from standby or suspended mode. Please disconnect the Product from your computer before performing these operations. </quote> I've been experiencing this for some time now but this is the first time I've seen it in black and white. If you have a USB drive device that does not support boot options, you can hang the computer. Check your BIOS settings for this option. |
