| Windows Easy Transfer option Does WET support going from a workgroup to a domain? In other words, say you install Vista Business or Ultimate in workgroup mode, install all your programs, get your desktop the way you want it, etc. Then you decide to join it to a domain. Can WET transfer your settings and desktop and things like that in this situation also? So that you have what you worked hard to get all set the way you like it and not have to lose it when you join a domain? |

| Re: Windows Easy Transfer option You would want to use the User State Migration Tool for that. I believe WET is designed to work with infrastructure networks. Searches on microsoft.com will turn up lots of hits.
