| Internet sports on Vista and WMP11 I am a big sports fan and many internet services are available for viewing matches online. However some of the providers I like have been slow to support Vista, IE7, and WMP11, or all three. Here is an update. uefa.com (Champions League, Uefa Cup, etc). As of two months ago they wouldn't even support IE7. As of the end of the year they supported IE7 but not WMP11. As of today you can now view all matches and replays on Vista with IE7 and WMP11. This is a subscription service. setanta.com (Rugby, soccer, GAA sports, English leagues and European tournements). Fully supported in Vista. Subscription service. mlb.com (major league baseball). Although this is the off-season the archives appear to play fine. Mosaic is not availble off-season so I don't know it it works OK on Vista x86 but it does not install on Vista x64. Subscription service. Comcast Hockey Live (selected NHL games live, no archived games). Works great. Available free to Comcast.net customers. If you watch internet sports please add any services you watch that I have not listed. |
