| This system does not support fullscreen mode I am trying to run an exe file from HP that will make a bios upgrade floppy. When I run it, it opens a 16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem window and then I get an error message showing the file and its path I am trying to run, with the error message: "This system does not support fullscreen mode. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.". Then I can choose "Close" or I can choose "Ignore" and when I have hit the ignore button three times it exits anyway. Anyone got any idea what the problem is? Oystein |

| Re: This system does not support fullscreen mode Yes, Vista does not support full screen (DOS-like) command windows, which that app is apparently set to run in. You can fiddle with a shortcut to see if you can adjust the properties, or run the app on an older version of Windows. -- Maxwell Bluemeanie "Oystein" <ostraat********.com> wrote in message news:992758D4-1FBA-469A-949E-AFA43A540633@microsoft.com... > "This system does not support fullscreen mode.
