I have installed the .Net 1.1 Redistributable and SP1 on Vista RC2 Build
5744. My application is running perfectly, except when it comes to
termination. About 2 times out of three the process does not die when I close
the program (ie. click the red 'x' in the top right of a simple "hello world"
c# form). The form will disappear, and has all the appearances of haveing
closed, but the process continues to run. If I use a config file to tell the
program to run against .Net 2.0 the problem does not occur (but this is not
an acceptable solution for all my applications).

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any assistance or insight is
appreciated.

until you test with Vista RTM, your testing will mean nothing.... so i would
wait if i were you
