| Desktop is cut-off when using 16:9 ratio Whenever I set resolution to 1280x720, left and right areas of the desktop in Vista get cut-off, so I can see only a part of the "Start" button. However, when I play Blu-Ray full screen (using HP Smart DVD player), it shows the frame correctly. Is there an easy fix? Sometimes you can do this in software if your video drivers support it. Look at control panel -> display -> properties -> advanced. |

| Re: Desktop is cut-off when using 16:9 ratio On my monitor I have to go into the settings and change the aspect ratio from 16 : 9, or 4 : 3 to an aspect ratio of 1 : 1.
